That’s Too Heavy For Me explores the concept of trusting others. Children are empowered to identify “safe” adults they can confide in about their feelings. As children are encouraged to speak up, they can enjoy the freedom of communicating their feelings with a caring and supportive adult within their immediate community.
Recommended Ages: Grades K-5 (But can be adapted for activities with slightly older youth and special needs teens)
